As a young woman when you’re in your 20’s there’s so much you’re dealing with. Everything from dating to deciding if you should go to college to actually going to college, to finding a job or career, to deciding what the hell you’re gonna do with the rest of your life!
Over the last 3 weeks I shared my three-part series “How to Make the Most of Your 20’s” on my YouTube Channel. Click here to go directly to the first video, where I cover the first three things to get your on your way.
Here, I’ve taken one of my favs from each part and have highlighted them here for you.
Why you need to be constantly pushing yourself out of comfort zones.
You must constantly question your comfort zone. Comfort zones are danger zones and if you live there you will never be able to create a life that you truly love. That’s because comfort zones keep you from trying anything new. Remember, if it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you.
If you’re struggling in this zone, I’m here to help. My why and my desire to guide and support young women in a way that I was never supported is my motivator and the reason why I keep showing up for you!
What version of you will exist in five years?
Have you ever thought about what you’ll be doing in five years? Most young people in their 20’s do not have a vision of what they want to do or where they even want to be in five years. Even having somewhat of a vision is better than not having any vision at all. This means the vision you create for yourself doesn’t have to be perfect right now. In my weekly confidence challenge video, (check it out here) I guide you on a simple but super powerful visualization to get your vision on track!
Meditation for health and mental wellbeing.
Meditation is a practice found in many countries and many religions around the world and it’s for good reason. Because it works! Meditation plays a critical role in calming the mind. The more you practice meditation, the more you’ll be able to quiet your mind, become better at making decisions, become more resilient and become more confident! Think of it as taking a multivitamin for your mind.
If you’re a beginner or find your mind wandering when you try to meditate, the Counting Meditation Technique is excellent and I take you through a whole count in the last challenge video of this series. I promise you can’t mess this up. Try it here!
There you have it. Have a comment or question? You can respond right to this email. I’d love to know if this was helpful. If so, I’m sharing more on Instagram and Facebook.
